Job Summary

The care that goes into packing our luxury teas and gifts is essential to our business—our customers post their unboxings all over social media with so much enthusiasm! We also get so many love letters from our customers all over the world telling us how much they love our magical boxes filled with tea and beautiful products. Our gift boxes and subscriptions require meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering our products in a timely and accurate manner. The order picker/packer is such an important and essential job as it ensures the customer not only gets the correct items purchased but also is delighted and uplifted with how beautiful everything is packed. Every box lights the life of a customer—whether it’s a frontline nurse ordering immunity teas, or a teacher ordering tea for her students, we find that magic is spread through the love we pack into each order!

General Accountabilities

• Break down cardboard for recycling as needed.
• Assist/taking turns with other staff in cleaning restrooms, break rooms as scheduled.
• Keep a clean work area and observe all company safety standards.
• Inventory reporting (keeping counts so production can deliver more to us)
• Maintain the pace of the production of other team members.
• Able to grasp objects and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Monitors product quality frequently. Example: seals, labels, printing, missing information.
• It’s an active job! Stand, bend, stoop, twist and walk during shifts.
• Carries out various verbal and/or written instructions.
• Learns and understands products and sizes available.
• Pull products based on daily orders.
• Read orders with the utmost attention to detail.

Job Qualifications

• Has a great attitude and is a team player
• Experience: Some previous work-related experience is great but not necessary.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

 Skills

• Possess basic mathematical skills: division, multiplication, subtraction, and addition
• Perform basic visual quality inspections on products
• Effectively communicate information and respond to inquiries from various different levels within the organization
• Understand and follow basic written and verbal instructions
• Can multi-task and keep focus in a busy work environment
• Interested in creating a beautiful experience for our customers
